Long time no post :S

Life's been pretty hectic up till now. with Drama work galore, the odd sociology essay, more performances than I've done in the last year (both dance and drama). and then some helpful person reminded me that it is in fact only 8 weeks till exams (ARGH). Luckily drama supporting notes are done. Finito on friday! YEAH! and we have our practical exam next wednesday, I can't wait to get it over and done with. I was given a rubbish play called Effie's Burning, in which I play a 64 year old mental patient with the mind of a ten year old... sigh. How this fits in with stanislavski realism I have no idea, since clearly I'm not and elderly woman, infact I am a very young woman... ah well.

Outside of school I pretty much have no life. At least it feels that way at the moment. I'm rehearsing for the brewery dance platform next wednesday! Also I'm incredibly exited for the trip to London next thursday (which is organised by school but doesn't really count). Only a week till the easter holidays now, which is a blessed relief!

Yesterday I went to my primary school placement, (an extra day), and helped clean the school all after the entire school had spent the day making a grand total of 340 pizza's. This was followed by going to church and helping even more people make even more pizza's. The total at the moment stands at 550 - there are still more to be counted. Pizza sauce stinks.
That said I really enjoyed myself, the kids were lovely, the pizza's tasty (once cooked) and I hope my school wins, for my friend who organised the whole event!

Other exiting things I have done since Jan
  • Went to see Matthew Bournes Swan Lake! which was amazing, really funny aswell which I wasn't expecting!
  • Went to visit people in Yorkshire, this was good. I miss them all!
  • Got new furniture for my room. big big wardrobe. and matching drawers. got rid of old unmatching furniture. my room feels much bigger
  • Totally wooped people on Mario Kart wii. this is momentous, as until recently I was TRAP with a capital C

Anyhows Aloha for Now

Reasons why I like Bananas

  1. Bananas are yellow, and yellow is a happy colour.
  2. Bananas are a slow releasing energy food. this means that If I eat one before dance, I shouldn't run out of energy too quickly!
  3. I like the taste
  4. They can be made into smoothies! my favourite is a smoothie made of banana, mango, and orange juice!
  5. 2 words, Banana Split!
  6. The Word "Banan" is arabic for "finger"! :D
  7. They are a brilliant comfort food.
  8. Potassium based goodness! I've also heard that potassium can help prevent cancer?
  9. Bananas are rich in iron, so all you people with low iron levels! go yellow!
  10. Banana smoothies, sweetened with honey, are a brilliant hangover cure
  11. According to some, banana skin, can be used to cure wart!
  12. They have no fat, no cholesteral and no sodium!
  13. In 2001, there were almost 300 banana related accidents in the UK, most of these were involved with slipping on the skins... wooops!
  14. Bananas grow on not a tree, but the worlds largest herb, a distant cousin of ginger, and tumeric, although it is botanically classified as a berry
  15. Bananas are proved to make you feel HAPPY! They contain tryptophan, a chemical which the boy turns into seratonin, known to make you relax, improve, and generally make you HAPPY!
  16. They come with the best type of packaging! their own, its enviromentally friendly, biodegradable, and made to measure!

Happy New Year!

Just a brief happy new year, before I get on with writing my bananas part 2! (exiting stuff ladies and gentlemen!)

I beg to differ

Personally I think limes taste better, but as a lime you won't get eaten!

"Half past 12 and I'm watching the late show"

Ah! its been a while, and it seems that I'm procrastinating again! tsch, I really should be doing that essay that is due in first period this morning. Instead it is half and hour past midnight, and I am really not that focused
I'm listening to the Mamma Mia! soundtrack and rather enjoying the feeling of order that has slightly overtaken my room, admittedly it is not yet tidy, but still, I feel that I have made a valuable contribution to its overall mess-less-ness. in sorting out folders and cupboards and that dreaded hiding place under the bed!
Since June many many things have changed. Firstly and most significantly I have started my A levels at QKS (brand new school, although it already feels like I have been there years". I have found that I am rather enjoying the somewhat messy start I have achieved at QKS, although I just about catching up with myself. I have been extremely busy recently and it feels like I have stopped and the world has carried on without me, all the way to christmas which is now just a week away, I must be THE most unprepared person on the planet having not even started thinking about christmas shopping yet, (although we got the tree up early this year!). With my first exam next term, I'm not particularly looking forward to next term, I am however extremely grateful for the holidays being just days away. Feelins slightly robbed though, as it turns out I am working almost everyday :( with just tuesday and christmas day of in the first week, and no double pay! (although the fact that I love my job makes up for this slightly). While we mention it, there is change number 2, I am now employed! I now work in Jessops, selling people cameras and learning about something I am genuinly interested in :D

On that not, I had better get back to something else I am genuinly interested (HA.) and write this damned essay!

Aloha goodbye :D

The Cat Thing

My Friend found my “cat thing” amusing

So I thought I’d Share it

I have 3 cats, not normal cats, but 3 completely different and definatly not normal cats

FAT CAT aka Molly, is my Cat, today the vet finally confirmed what I have known for years, that my cat is indeed overweight. Molly resembles a giant ball of fluff from behind. We find it impossible to make her lose weight, since in fact, we don’t actually feed her. Confusing much?

OLD SENILE CAT aka Mork, We have had mork since he was about 4 years old. He is Now 16 and thouroughly senile. Mork wanders into the house screaming, yes actually screaming, when he wants food. He stands infront of the T.V for hours on end, for reasons best known for himself. He Wets himself on his way the vets in the pet carrier, and then instead of avoiding it at all costs, sits in it, the poor vet had to clean him up, after ordealing his screaming over a blood test. she returned to the room saying "it was all my fault".

THE CAT THAT THINKS HE IS A DOG aka Moses. Moses is described by our vet as “the perfect example of a cat”. HAHA . Moses follows us when we take our dog for a walk. In fact Moses adores our dog. Moses is in fact in love with our dog. They Kiss. They Hug. They follow each other round the garden. All this despite the fact that they are both males. Normal Cat behaviour? I think not

I think though, actually, I prefer having 3 weird cats. I think its much more interesting than having cats that just behave, well, like cats :)
